WHEN

The Conference will start on 2 September at 4 pm at LUMSA University and will end on 5 September at 1 PM at the University of Notre Dame Rome.

WHERE

  • 2-4 September: the Conference will take place at LUMSA University (Via di Porta Castello 44, Rome). Plenary sessions will take place in room “Aula Giubileo”, parallel sessions in rooms “Aula Giubileo” (NHNAI Network), “Aula Pia” or “Sala del Consiglio” (PhD program in Contemporary Humanism) and “Aula Teatro” (ATEM).
  • 5 September: the last session of the Conference will take place at the University of Notre Dame Rome (Via Ostilia 15, Rome).

FOOD AND BEVERAGE

The dinner cocktail of 2 September, the lunches and the coffee-breaks of 3-4-5 September are offered, along with the breakfasts for those who stay at Casa Bonus Pastor and Suore Missionarie Pallottine. Please note that the dinners of 3 and 4 September are not included. Those who stay at Casa Bonus Pastor can have dinner there on their own expenses (20 € per dinner to be payed at the hotel reception).

HOW TO REACH : LUMSA UNIVERSITY

(Via di Porta Castello 44, Rome):

  • From Termini Station: take the Metro Line A towards Battistini and get off at Lepanto (5 stops). From the Lepanto metro stop to get to Lumsa University is a 13-minute walk. From Termini Station to LUMSA, the buses 40, 64 and 70 are also good options. Please note that the Ottaviano Metro station is closed for works. Metro and bus tickets cost 1.5 €.

  • From Ciampino Airport: the easiest and cheapest way (6 €) is to take a Sit Bus Shuttle (https://www.sitbusshuttle.com/transfer-aeroporto-ciampino/) and get off at Roma Vaticano (Via Crescenzio). From Via Crescenzio to get to Lumsa University is a 3-minute walk. If you prefer to take a TAXI, the fixed fare is 31 €.   • From Fiumicino Airport: the easiest and cheapest way (7 €) is to take take a Sit Bus Shuttle (https://www.sitbusshuttle.com/transfer-aeroporto-fiumicino/) and get off at Roma Vaticano (Via Crescenzio). From Via Crescenzio to get to Lumsa University is a 3-minute walk. If you prefer to take a TAXI, the fixed fare is 50 €.   • From Casa Bonus Pastor:it takes about 25 minutes to walk to LUMSA. In alternative, you can take the Bus n. 49 towards Pz.za Cavour, and get off at Crescenzio/Terenzio (5 stops). From there to get to LUMSA is a 4-minute walk.

  • From Suore Missionarie Pallottine: it takes about 20 minutes to walk to LUMSA. In alternative, you can take the Bus n. 64 towards Roma Termini and get off at Pz.za della Rovere (2 stops). From there in 9-minute walk you will be at Lumsa University.

HOW TO REACH : CASA BONUS PASTOR

(Via Aurelia 208, Rome):

  • From Termini Station: the easiest and cheapest way (1.5 €) is to take the metro Line A towards Battistini and get off at Valle Aurelia (8 stops). From the Valle Aurelia metro station to get to Casa Bonus Pastor is a 14-minute walk.

  • From Ciampino Airport: the easiest and cheapest way (6 €) is to take the Bus Shuttle (https://www.sitbusshuttle.com/transfer-aeroporto-ciampino/) to Rome and to get off at Roma Vaticano (Via Crescenzio). From Via Crescenzio to get to Casa Bonus Pastor you can take the Bus n. 49 towards Ospedale S. Filippo Neri (5 stops), and get off at Aurelia/Paolo III.   • From Termini Station: take the Bus n. 64 towards Pz.za Stazione S. Pietro and get off at Cavallegeri/S.Pietro (15 stops). From there it is a 12-minutes walk.

  • From Ciampino Airport: the easiest and cheapest way (6€) is to take a Sit Bus Shuttle (https://www.sitbusshuttle.com/transfer-aeroporto-ciampino/) and get off at Roma Termini (Via Marsala). From Roma Termini (Piazza Dei Cinquecento) you can take the Bus n. 64 towards Piazza Stazione S. Pietro (15 stops) and get off at Cavallegeri/S.Pietro. From there it is a 12-minutes walk. HOW TO REACH : UNIVERSITY OF NOTRE DAME

(Via Ostilia 15, Rome – near Colosseo Metro Station, line B):

  • From Casa Bonus Pastor: on September 5 a shuttle will pick you up at 7.45am and take you to Via Claudia (bus stalls). Notre Dame Rome is a 2-minute walk from there. From Via Claudia (bus stalls) the shuttle will leave at 2.15pm to Casa Bonus Pastor.

  • From Suore Missionarie Pallottine: on September 5 a shuttle will pick you up at 7.45am (via Porta Cavalleggeri 13 – bus stop) and take you to Via Claudia (bus stalls). Notre Dame Rome is a 2-minute walk from there.

  • From Termini Station: take the metro metro Line B towards Laurentina and get off at Colosseo (2 stops). From the Colosseo metro stop to get to University of Notre Dame is a 8-minute walk.
